Mailing of automated traffic enforcement tickets to resume this week

The Lethbridge Police Service will resume mailing automated traffic enforcement (photo radar) violation tickets this week.

Over the past month, due to the recent postal strike, contracted members of the Corps of Commissionaires have been hand-delivering tickets to the homes of registered owners. With the strike moving to a rotating status, Lethbridge Police will begin mailing automated traffic enforcement tickets on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Police would also like to remind the public that automated traffic enforcement tickets are always mailed/delivered to the address of the vehicle’s registered owner – never texted. Payments/non-payments are dealt with by Alberta Courts and Alberta Registries.
