Police advising the public of training exercise in the river valley

Members of the Lethbridge Police Critical Incident Team are participating training scenarios on the northside today between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. police will be training near the Alexander Wilderness Park along the 600 block of Marie Van Haarlem Crescent. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. training will take place in various areas of the north industrial estate. 

During the scenarios there will be a highly visible police presence and training signs will be posted.  

There is no risk to the public.
