Police investigating assault, seeking information
Lethbridge Police are investigating an assault where a 55-year-old male was attacked by a group of people.
On September 15, just after 4:30 a.m. police responded to an assault along the 200 block of 7 Street North. An injured male was located and transported by EMS to hospital where he was treated and has since been discharged.
Following further investigation, police determined the assault involved a large group of people, with some using weapons to strike the victim.
The following descriptions of the assailants were provided:
- Person 1 in a brown jacket, black pants, black shoes
- Person 2 in white pants, white hoodie, black and white shoes
- Person 3 with a dark hat, grey hoodie, grey pants
- Person 4 in black hoodie blue pants, black shoes
- Person 5 pushing a black bicycle with a red hat, blue shirt, brown pants, black shoes
- Person 6 in a black sweater and brown pants
- Person 7 on a scooter with black hoodie and white emblems, black pants and black and white shoes
There was also a dog observed with group. No description of the dog was provided.
