Police investigating single vehicle collision

Lethbridge Police are investigating a single vehicle collision earlier today that resulted in injuries to the driver.

Just before 11 a.m. police responded to a report of a collision along the 1500 block of Scenic Drive South after a Ford Mustang struck a traffic light standard in the centre median. The vehicle and light standard sustained significant damage and the 20-year-old male driver was transported by EMS to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Excessive speed and poor road conditions contributed to the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
