Police seek witnesses, video for assault with a weapon investigation

Lethbridge Police are asking for public assistance regarding an investigation where an assault with a weapon took place outside a south Lethbridge business. 

The incident occurred on July 12, 2025, at approximately 7:39pm at the Walmart located at 3700 Mayor Magrath Drive South. A verbal altercation between a man and a group began inside the store and continued outside where, it is alleged, a weapon was produced.

Police are specifically looking to speak with a person associated to an Orange Hot Rod with no hood who may have been a witness to the assault with a weapon.
