Police seeking assistance in assault with a weapon investigation

UPDATE: the male has been identified, but police are still looking to speak to the person associated to the orange hot rod.

Lethbridge Police are seeking public assistance with an investigation into an assault with a weapon that took place outside a south side business.
The incident occurred on July 12 at approximately 7:39 p.m. at Walmart along the 3700 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South. A verbal altercation between a man and a group began inside the store and continued outside where it is alleged a weapon was produced.
Police are specifically looking to speak with a person associated to an orange hot rod with no hood who may have been a witness to the assault.
Police are also looking to identify the male in the photographs below to assist with the investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have video footage, know the owner of the vehicle or can identify the male subject, is asked to call 403-328-4444 and reference file 25012744. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or 1-800-222-8477
