Police seeking assistance to identify subject in connection with theft

Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male subject in connection with a theft.

On January 3 at approximately 2:48 p.m. police received a report of a theft at the McDonalds along Mauretania Road West after a patron's food order along with his Nintendo Switch (including a charger and memory card) were stolen from a table while he stepped away to wash his hands. Witnesses observed a male take the items and leave the restaurant. Police subsequently obtained video surveillance of the incident.  

Anyone who recognizes the subject is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 24000185.  Anonymous online tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com. Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to an arrest.
