Subject identified in hit and run

UPDATE: A male subject wanted in connection with a hit and run collision has been identified thanks to information from the public. 

Police thank the media and public for sharing the message. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.

Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male in connection with a hit and run collision.

On October 29 at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to a report of a hit and run in the casino parking lot along the 3700 block of 2 Avenue South after a woman returned to her parked vehicle to find it had been damaged. There was no note left on the vehicle.

Following further investigation, including a review of video surveillance, police obtained images of a male subject and his vehicle. The vehicle is described as a newer model, black Buick Encore GX. 

Anyone who recognizes the male or has information that could assist the investigation, is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25021230. 

Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to an arrest.
