Third Annual “Trunk or Treat” event promises to be a spook-tacular Halloween celebration!

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is brewing up some Halloween fun and invites families across our community to the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event - a frightfully fun, family-friendly event where kids can trick-or-treat from decorated police vehicles in a safe and “fa‑boo‑lous” environment.

Join our volunteer officers and staff on Halloween night between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. As an extra treat this year, a third location has been added to the festivities to make it easier for families across the city to join in the ghoulish good times:

  • (New) SOUTH – The Henderson Lake/Nikka Yuko parking lot, just off Mayor Magrath Drive South.
  • WEST - The boat launch parking lot at Nicholas Sheran Park, just off McMaster Boulevard West;
  • NORTH - The green space behind the Logan Boulet Arena, around the 800 block of 15 Street North;

“Trunk or Treat is quickly becoming one of our favourite traditions,” says Cst. Joel Running, one of the event organizers. “We love meeting the kids and their families, especially when they’re so excited to show us their costumes and get some candy. We’re also thrilled that we have so many willing volunteers this year that we can open up a third location – making the event accessible to even more people in our community.”

While this free, family friendly event is designed for families with younger children, all youth are welcome to attend.
