    Lethbridge Police have charged a 28-year-old male after recovering a stolen truck and high-end bicycle. A second male was also apprehended in connection with the incident following a search of the river valley.

    UPDATE: The 2 residential fires in the 1200 block of Pacific Close West have been contained.  The area is now open to local traffic only,

  • Lethbridge Police warning the public about high-risk offender

    In the interest of public safety, the Lethbridge Police Service is issuing the following warning in regard to a high-risk offender who is residing in Lethbridge.

  • High risk incident resolved

    UPDATE: The situation along Scenic Drive between 1 Avenue South and Highway 3 has been resolved. The public may resume regular use of the area. As this matter is related to a mental health issue, no further information will be released.

  • Five people charged following investigation into drug house

    Lethbridge Police charged five people with drug and weapons offences following a short-term investigation into a problem property on the southside.

  • Two people charged, drugs seized following routine traffic stop

    Lethbridge Police have charged a male and female with drug offences and seized fentanyl and methamphetamine following an early morning traffic stop. 

  • Police charge male with weapons offences, uttering threats

    Lethbridge Police seized a firearm from a southside home and charged a 69-year-old male with threats and weapons offences following a high-risk incident over the weekend.

  • Police conducting training scenario near Pavan Park

    Members of the Lethbridge Police Service will be participating in a training scenario Tuesday, April 8 from 7:30 a.m. until  4 p.m. in the river valley near Pavan Park.

    There will be a highly visible police presence in the area during this time. Training signs will also be posted. 

    There is no risk to the public.
