  • Commercial Vehicle Safety

    June is Commercial Vehicle month and police are reminding all drivers to do their part to share the road safely.

    With the arrival of warmer weather, more motorcycles are hitting the road and it's important for all drivers to be aware. 

  • LPS and LFES working together to encourage safety after minor vehicle collisions

    In a joint effort to improve safety, ease traffic congestion, and support efficient emergency response, the Lethbridge Police Service and Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services are issuing a reminder to the community about what to do following a minor motor vehicle collision.

  • Reduce Speeding

    It’s easy for drivers to fall into the temptation of speeding to save a few minutes off their drive. However, speeding can be extremely dangerous.

  • Education the focus of pedestrian safety traffic enforcement project

    Lethbridge Police have wrapped up a month-long pedestrian safety traffic enforcement project that saw officers engage with nearly 300 parents and students, issue 16 tickets, and deliver numerous warnings.
