ASIRT investigating incident involving physical altercation between an LPS officer and male subject
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) is investigating after an incident involving a physical altercation between a Lethbridge Police Service officer and a male subject on October 28, 2018 – a portion of which was caught on video and posted to social media.
Wanted subject turned himself in
An 18-year-old man previously wanted on a warrant for assaulting a peace officer turned himself in to Calgary Police.
Peyton Thomas Kale Many Shots,18, of Brooks, is charged with assaulting a peace officer, disarming or attempting to disarm a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer.
A judicial interim release hearing was held and Many Shots was released on a recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court in Lethbridge Nov. 20.
