  • Automated enforcement tickets to be delivered directly to registered owners

    Lethbridge Police are implementing a temporary, alternative delivery method for all automated traffic enforcement tickets during the postal strike.

  • Police target drivers for stunting, speeding, noise and other violations

    Lethbridge Police issued 69 traffic tickets for stunting, speeding, excessive exhaust noise, distracted driving and various equipment violations as part of an enforcement project targeting high-risk and nuisance driving.

    UPDATE: Police have taken one male youth safely into custody.

  • Police seeking assistance to locate wanted male

    Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a 27-year-old male wanted on an outstanding warrant. 

  • Male subject identified

    UPDATE: The male subject has been identified and charges are pending. Police thank the public for their assistance.

  • Drug trafficking and open use targeted during enforcement project

    Lethbridge Police apprehended nearly three dozen people openly using drugs and seized their illicit substances as part of an enforcement blitz targeting crime and social disorder downtown.

  • Pedestrian Safety

    Ensuring our roads are safe is a shared responsibility between drivers and pedestrians. As the days get shorter and we have less daylight, it's even more important that pedestrians take steps to make sure they are seen by drivers.

     

  • LPS launches new Integrated Offender Management program

    The Lethbridge Police Service has launched a new Integrated Offender Management (IOM) program that brings together law enforcement and community partners to help reduce recidivism and enhance public safety.

  • Police participating in a training exercise

    Lethbridge Police will be conducting training exercises today between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. in various sections of the north Lethbridge industrial area. A highly visible police presence can be expected. There is no risk to the public.  

  • Package non-suspicious

    UPDATE: Police have resolved the situation along the 2000 block of 5th Avenue North and determined that the package poses no threat. The public may now resume use of the area.
