Police release composite sketch of sexual assault suspect
Lethbridge Police are releasing a composite sketch of a suspect in connection with a sexual assault, and are asking anyone who recognizes the male to come forward.
On August 20, 2025, police responded to a report of a sexual assault. The 30-year-old victim told police the incident had occurred a few days prior after she entered the vehicle of an unknown male downtown, was confined inside then driven to Henderson Lake where she was sexually assaulted.
The investigation has been ongoing to date.
The suspect is described as a Black or dark-skinned male, approximately 25-years-old, 5’11”, with a thin build, short Afro hairstyle, small goatee and freckles on his face. At the time, he was wearing a white tank top and sweatpants. The male’s vehicle is described as an older model (1990s), dark grey, green or black, four-door Ford truck with tinted windows.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information that could assist investigators, is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25015898. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to an arrest.
