Police seeking assistance to identify robbery suspect
Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in the robbery of a north side business.
On November 22, at around 6:00 p.m., police responded to a robbery along the 1000 block of 2A Avenue North. A male entered a local business and stole a number of items. When confronted by staff, he began swinging a hammer at them before fleeing the scene. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 30 years of age, who is 6’0” tall with a thin build. He has blond hair, a thin moustache, and a small injury under his nose. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown and black jacket, and a grey backpack. A photograph is attached for release.
Anyone who has information that could assist the investigation is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25023033. Anonymous online tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
