Police seeking public assistance to identify subjects of a pedestrian hit-and-run

Lethbridge Police are asking for public assistance identifying both the pedestrian and owner/operator of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision.

On July 5 at approximately 2:30 p.m., police received a report about a blue Volkswagen Jetta driving onto the sidewalk in the 100 Block of 16 Street North, striking a pedestrian and running over a small tree before fleeing at a high rate of speed. 

Surveillance images are included for release. 

Anyone who has information about this incident, or who can identify either the pedestrian or owner/operator of the vehicle, is asked to contact 403-330-4444 and reference file number 25012467. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or 1-800-222-8477.
